Check out The Kit insert in today’s Toronto Star for some tips on how to wear the season’s bright lips and (yikes!) a larger-than-expected pic of me in said bright lipstick! At least I can show my Mom I made the day’s paper…and without having to be arrested or something! :)

The weather’s warming up and it’s the perfect time to introduce some colour into your beauty routine! Here’s Katy from Elmer Olsen rocking some bold-eye looks. To get the look: I used Maybelline’s Colour Tattoo cream shadows (love!) and Yaby eyeshadows to up the intensity. The key to pulling off these looks (without looking like you’ve been hit by a paint truck!) is to keep the rest of the make-up soft and neutral. Photos by Sam Assam.

Meet beautiful bride-to-be, Helen! I feel so lucky to work with Helen – her reaction to her make-up during her bridal trial (pictured here) is what I aim for with everyone I work with. The feeling I get from seeing reactions like that is just indescribable…it just feels right.
