Meet beautiful bride-to-be, Helen! I feel so lucky to work with Helen – her reaction to her make-up during her bridal trial (pictured here) is what I aim for with everyone I work with. The feeling I get from seeing reactions like that is just indescribable…it just feels right.

Check out the pics courtesy of Helen’s beau and talented photographer, Glendon Tang – that’s why the pics look so pro-fesh, right?  If only I could have him shoot all my bridal trials…say Glendon, what are you doing next Saturday? :)

UPDATES | Make-up + Hair for Michelle Fairley of Game of Thrones!

I meant to get to this post last night with the Game of Thrones Season 2 premiere, but alas a busy weekend got the best of me!

I had the wonderful pleasure of doing make-up and hair for Michelle Fairley during her press junket in Toronto for Game of Thrones.  I always say how I love what I do…and working with people like Michelle really amplified that love!  Michelle’s energy and passion for what she does (and for Game of Thrones) was infectious – seeing her being interviewed just made me love the show even more!!  Here’s a pic of Michelle’s visit courtesy of Mr. Will-W, Pop Maven:

Beautiful Thanh! I feel so lucky to get to work with this bride-to-be. Yes, she’s gorgeous (obvs!), but working with her and her positive energy totally reinforces why I sooo love what I do! (Thanks Thanh!!)
I love a bride that’s not afraid of a more glamorous look! I used Urban Decay’s Naked 1 and Naked 2 Palettes for her eyes – I am loving these palettes for my bridal clientele and will review in detail in a later post.
