I’m lucky. I know it, and likely am repetitive about it because half the time I can’t believe it. I’m lucky that I get paid to do what I love, but also lucky with the clients that I am fortunate to work with who reinforce that love for what I do. One of my brides, Lien, is exactly that type of client – obviously gorgeous on the inside and out – and the perfect reminder of why I do what I do.
I’ll never forget how Lien had said she had figured out her wedding vendors even before she got engaged (and I was in very good company with Geehae Jeong on photography, Norris Wong on cinema, Suzie Kim + Jeana on hair to name just a few). After following Lien’s Instagram to see her labour of love with all the personal DIY touches she was putting into her Big Day, I couldn’t help but appreciate the huge honour of being selected to work with her. Needless to say I was excited to see her again on the wedding day … and then afterwards to see this Same Day Edit by Norris and get a glimpse of the rest her Big Day, which of course brought me to (happy!) tears. So enough verbiage, check the SDE and you’ll see why knowing Lien is just…amazing.
Congrats beautiful Lien – I feel blessed for getting to know and work with you. Â You were definitely made for amazing things and Stan is one lucky man.
