Recently, I had the pleasure of working with the great group of executives behind Shift 2, a digital media agency with its main focus on connecting brands with the YouTube generation (geez, I feel old just saying that).  I don’t always get a chance to post my work with corporate clients, but I thought this was a really neat initiative to utilize the power and pull of YouTube stars/gurus to optimize a brand’s targeted audience.  I mean really, why isn’t this already happening more?!
There’s always something to be learned with what I do (which is why I love it so!), and it’s always a good day when I’m surrounded by people that are waaay smarter than me, way more talented than me and inspire me in some way. Â Ok well, being surrounded by smarter people happens all the time (and by choice too!) but really, it had me thinking about the ever-changing landscape of media (including social media)…and about the ways to remain competitive and relevant as a freelancer in a changing world. Food for thought indeed.
As I digest my thoughts, meet the cool execs behind Shift 2 – as these vids show, they’re really fun to work with too! Make-up and hair by me.
