WEDDING | Wendy + Kwan by Ten-2-Ten Photography

Working with beautiful bride Wendy was an absolute pleasure and honour.  I was fortunate that Wendy found me through one of my previous brides, the gorgeous and sweet Sam.  With the help of Sam’s gracious referral, Wendy really put her trust in me and what I do, and that’s no small responsibility to have the trust of two brides!!

During Wendy’s trial, the final result leaned towards the dramatic side:

On the day of the wedding I wanted to give Wendy a more natural look, as she is such a natural beauty and barely wears any make-up daily, as I learned during the trial.  We went with less eyeshadow and less liner, but stepped up the falsies using mink lashes (Velour Lashes in Complete Me) to still make the eyes really pop!  I loved how these gorgeous mink lashes opened up Wendy’s eyes, while looking more ‘natural’ than applying colour make-up.

Here’s a closer look at the Complete Me mink lash – the criss-cross layering and the soft fluffy finish makes them look more realistic than the usual set of falsies.  The double full-ness on the ends also works perfectly to add coveted volume to Asian lashes that are typically sparse and grow downward (umm, you had me at hello!):

Here’s how it all came together on the wedding day!  These pretty images are courtesy of the talented Erika Hammer at Ten-2-Ten Photography, stunning hair by Suzie and Jeana, make-up by me…

..but that beauty is definitely all Wendy! ♥♥♥
