Side note, I’ll never forget this day – I had 2 weddings and 13 people in total to get artistrhi‘d.  I’m not going to lie – it was certainly a long day, but as you can see from the pics above, it was all well worth-it!

WEDDING | Emily + John by Mauricio J. Calero Photography

Looking at Emily’s photos just brings a huge smile to my face!  It’s one thing to be lucky to be able to do what you love, but when you also get to meet and work with so many wonderful people, it truly is amazing.  Emily is just one of those fantastic people that I’ve had the privilege to work with and get to know.  I remember my trial with her, listening to her concerns about never wearing make-up and wanting to look like ‘herself’…and I will never forget the wonderful feeling that I got when she looked in the mirror and loved how her make-up looked…that wonderful feeling truly never gets old!  It’s what I strive for when working with anyone that comes across my brushes.

Shout-out to beautiful Adrienne (far right in the pic below) – one of my brides who kindly referred Emily to me.  (Like I said – amazing, right?)


I love that Emily and her beau John rented a TTC streetcar to do some of their wedding pics!  How sweet is that?!  (Yes, sweet as the bride herself!)

Thank you Emily for letting me take part in your Big Day and for being part of the reason why I love what I do and do what I love :)  Congrats to you and John! xo

I did a post with Xiaoxi’s professional pics (by awesome photographer Geehae Jeong – who by the way makes the rest of us look like slackers!), but here are more detailed pics of the before and after enhancements! ;)

Looking at these pics, I love and cannot stress enough the importance of a good pair of brows!!  If you have questions about getting (or faking) good brows, see this post here or of course, feel free to contact/see me.  I have 1.5 eyebrows due to an over-tweezing incident in grade 6 that my shocked brows never recovered from.  True story.  Unfortunately.

Anyway, I digress….back to Xiaoxi + her ladies! :)
