Ever wonder how some women just keep looking fresh all day? Â They likely have one (or a combo!) of these essential beauty products in their purse. Â Check out some of my fave products for a quick beauty pick-me-up to keep you going until home time:
1. Â Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Concealer
I love this concealer. Â Talk about double-duty: Â it’s opaque enough in coverage to hide a zit, but also smooth and emollient enough to blend and conceal undereye circles.
2. Â Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets
Powder and puff touch-ups are soooo Mad Men yesteryear. Â With blotting tissues like Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets, you can easily eliminate shine from the comfort of your desk – no mirror required.
3. Â Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm
Use balm on the lips (obvs), or use it to keep unruly eyebrows with a mind of their own in check.
4. Â Cotton swabs
Yes, women get their own version of 5’o’clock shadow…but under the eyes (mine actually comes earlier, as with my combo of oily lids and watery eyes, a bit of liner usually smudges under my eyes by midday!). Â No need to fret – easily erase any mascara/liner that might have gone astray with a wet cotton swab, and then follow up with concealer for a double beauty pick-me-up.
5. Â Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge
There’s nothing like adding a little bit of blush to make the face look more awake. If by afternoon break, you’re looking and feeling a little sallow, a pop of cream blush can do just the trick. Â Use your fingers to easily apply and blend a cream blush, like Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge (fave shades include Powder Pink and Rose). Bonus: Â Pot Rouge can also be used on the lips –> now, that’s my idea of multi-tasking! Â Â Pat some on your lips for a pretty stained effect and (optional) add some of your balm on top.
ARTIST TIP: Learn more about applying cream blush.
The lesson? Â Beauty doesn’t have to be tough, nor take a lot of time. Â With these quick tips, you’ll be looking fresh til 5, and guaranteed you’ll still have time to line up for that power latte!
