PRODUCT REVIEW | Schwarzkopf’s BC Hairtherapy + Contest Alert!

Schwarzkopf has long been known (we’re talking 100+ years!) as a trusted go-to brand for salon professionals for their quality products for hair care, colouring and styling.
I’ll admit that I mainly buy brands available at the drugstore when it comes to hair care and styling for myself and only quality salon products for my kit (hey, my money gets spent on make-up! Guilty as charged.)….so when I had the chance to test run a few products from Schwarzkopf’s BC Hairtherapy hair care line, I jumped at the opportunity to treat my over-processed and over-heated hair (and my locks rejoiced in agreement!).
Schwarzkopf’s BC Hairtherapy line offers an extensive range of hair care products specifically tailored to your hair’s needs – my ‘needs’ tend to be adding moisture back to my dry and lacklustre locks (likely due to a serious dependency on heat-styling tools).
I have become a huge fan of the BC Hairtherapy Moisture Kick line of products (for normal to dry hair) over the past couple of months I’ve been using it. Bonacure’s Moisture Kick has restored a healthy and soft feeling to my hair, making it much easier to manage with minimal detangling. Moisture Kick has also revived a noticeable shine to my hair, which I didn’t realize it was seriously lacking until it came back (I blame heat-styling yes, but also the past season’s dry winter weather doing a number on my hair)! I am particularly addicted to the Moisture Kick Re-charger leave-in conditioner, as I’m clearly going through that product twice as fast as I’m going through the Moisture Kick Shampoo and Conditioner. The light citrus smell is pleasant too – just smells fresh and clean (always important!).
Here’s the science behind the active ingredients according to the Schwarzkopf website:
HYALURONIC ACID DERIVATIVE: a vital ingredient commonly used in body moisturisers. Its molecule is able to balance the water content. Its outstanding hydrating properties result in increased smoothing, softening and combating dryness.
PANTHENOL: penetrates the hair shaft to inject hydration and balances the natural moisture level.
AMINO CELL REBUILD TECHNOLOGY: penetrates deeply into the hair to repair the inner cell structure.

BEAUTY BUZZ | Holiday Beauty Ideas. What to Give, What to GET!

So there are six official days before Christmas, which means you have six days of holiday shopping left! (Have you entered panic mode yet?!). It’s probably not the best idea to post about these products so close to Christmas, but it’s really reflective of my holiday season preparedness (or lack thereof. I’ll be hitting the malls this week!). If you’re like me and still in shopping mode, check out some of these beauty deals (and really, try to avoid buying them for yourself!).
Focus, Rhia, focusss!
